Prescription peptide therapy

Peptide therapy, by consultation

NAD+, sermorelin, and glutathione, plus recovery, growth-hormone, cognitive, and wellness peptides. Compounded by a state-licensed pharmacy and prescribed only after a licensed provider reviews your history.

Read this first. Most of these are compounded, prescription-only preparations. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not verify their safety, effectiveness, or quality. For NAD+, sermorelin, and glutathione, no FDA-approved product exists for the uses described here. Where a product contains an FDA-approved drug, the card says what it is approved for; any other use is off-label. A provider decides whether treatment is appropriate. If they do not prescribe, you are not charged for medication; the consultation fee for their review still applies.

In detail

NAD+, sermorelin & glutathione

Compounded injectable · consultation required

NAD+

A coenzyme in every cell, used to turn food into cellular energy and in DNA-repair pathways. Tissue levels fall with age.

Regulatory note. There is no FDA-approved NAD+ injection, and the FDA has not evaluated compounded NAD+ for these uses.
  • If prescribed Small subcutaneous injections at home, on a schedule your provider sets
  • Side effects Injection-site redness. Flushing, nausea, or chest tightness if given too quickly
  • Not appropriate if Pregnant or breastfeeding, or in active cancer treatment without your oncologist's sign-off
Compounded injectable · consultation required

Sermorelin

A synthetic fragment of growth-hormone-releasing hormone. It signals the pituitary to release the body's own growth hormone, leaving the normal feedback loop intact. No FDA-approved sermorelin product is sold in the U.S. today.

Regulatory note. Compounded sermorelin is not FDA-approved. An evaluation, and often baseline labs, comes before any prescribing decision.
  • If prescribed Small subcutaneous injection at night
  • Considered when A provider has reviewed your symptoms, history, and baseline labs
  • Not prescribed for Muscle building or athletic performance. Florida and many other states prohibit it, and our providers do not
  • Side effects Injection-site irritation, flushing, headache, drowsiness
  • Not appropriate if Active malignancy, untreated thyroid disease, or pregnancy
Compounded injectable · consultation required

Glutathione

The body's main intracellular antioxidant, central to handling oxidative stress and to liver pathways. Oral forms are poorly absorbed. We do not prescribe it for skin lightening: the FDA has warned about injectables sold for that use.

Regulatory note. There is no FDA-approved injectable glutathione, and the FDA has not evaluated compounded glutathione for these uses.
  • If prescribed One to three small injections a week
  • Side effects Injection-site reactions, a brief sulfur taste. Bronchospasm has been reported, mostly with inhaled use
  • Not appropriate if Asthma or sulfite sensitivity, unless your provider clears it. Pregnancy needs a separate discussion
How it works

What the consultation covers

1

Intake

About five minutes: medications, conditions, surgical history, and what you hope to address.

2

Provider review

A clinician licensed in your state, from our network LocumTele, reviews your history and may order labs (billed by the lab). Review is $30 asynchronous or $55 by video. That fee covers the visit only.

3

A decision, either way

If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the dose and risks and Rush Pharmacy fills the prescription. If not, they tell you that instead.

Talk to a provider before you decide anything

Complete the intake and a licensed provider will tell you whether peptide therapy makes sense for you, including when the answer is no.
